Plant Size and Quality

All plants sold  are guaranteed to be of similar size and quality to that shown in the product description (number of stems or leaves etc).  We always try to add more portions than mentioned.  Packaging in most cases for individual plants are in individuals bags and labeled. For packages and bundles, we might put multiple plants in one bag but always labeled.

Shrimp Size and Quality

We try to always ship almost adult Juvenile shrimps about 2-3 cm in size. This ensures fareness in selecting for males and females as well as less likely of death during shipment.

Dead on Arrival (DOA) Policy

In the unlikely event that a plant arrives to you DOA, please send us a photo of the plant within 2 hours of receiving it in the mail still in its original packaging and we will issue a credit to your account This guarantee only applies to UPS next day and Canada Post Priority shipments. While we still offer Canada Post Expedited and Express for many locations, using this option is at your own risk and our DOA policy will not apply. Shipping amounts do not apply.

Your Responsibility

Customers are responsible for checking their tracking number(s) regularly for updates and to make note of the expected delivery date and time. If you aren't available to take delivery of your order on the first attempt by the postal / courier service, the DOA guarantee doesn't apply.

If you've received the wrong item due to an error on our side, we'll cover the cost of return shipping.

You should expect to receive your store credit within 2-4 business days of providing us photos.

Winter Policy

Between November and March, orders will be shipped using mandatory signature only options to avoid being lefts in the cold.  With 10 years experience in shipping, the only DOA we have found were packages left outside and not picked up.  For fish and shrimp, we only use UPS next day shipping in insulated material covering the breathable bags during this period.

Pests

All plants that enter our facility are immediately sanitized in a chemical bath to remove any unwanted pests before entering into any of our tanks. We monitor our tanks daily and do our best to ensure your plants do not come with any hitch-hikers.

Note: If you are very concerned about introducing pests into your tank, we always recommend sanitizing plants before introducing them into your system, regardless of where you buy them.
